Cronk Aash is a charming Victorian detached Manx house, which has been fully modernised including Wi-Fi, in a wonderful location overlooking Laxey valley towards the sea.

It is close to facilities such as trams and buses, shops, the village centre and the beach. There are beautiful views from all rooms. The property is fully renovated and centrally heated.

The house is tastefully decorated and furnished with 2 bedrooms - one double and one with twin beds which can be zipped together to make a king-size bed. There is a bathroom with separate bath and shower and a study area, all on first floor.  On the ground floor are the sitting room with open fire, and smart TV. The dining room, which has a wood-burning stove, opens through to a fitted kitchen with Neff oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer.  Outside is a south-facing patio with lovely views and a large garden consisting of a lawn with trees and shrubs. There is a drive with off-road parking. There is also a secre garage for Motorcycles and bicycles.

This is a unique and memorable location in historically interesting and picturesque Laxey village. It is most suited to family of 4 ( 5 with cot for baby) or two couples. Price from £120 to £140 per night depending on season, a price supplement and minimum 14 night rental applies to TT Race fortnight.

Directions
From the Sea Terminal in Douglas.

Drive off ferry at first roundabout take the second exit, immediately there is another roundabout take first exit. Follow the promenade right along towards Onchan at the end of the promenade you will see the tram station, follow the A11 road round the coast to Groudle always keeping the tram lines on your left. When you arrive at a junction where the tram crosses the road turn right towards A2 Laxey, follow this main road and you will arrive at Laxey. Carry on driving into the village, you will cross a bridge and as you approach an EFV petrol station on your left you will see Baldhoon Road on your left immediately before the petrol station. Turn left up Baldhoon Road. You follow the road round a hairpin bend, Cronk Aash is the 7th house on the left with a tourism sign on the gable wall, and nameplate on gate pillar.


From Ronaldsway Airport


Drive out the airport and turn right on the third exit towards Douglas. As you approach the Ballasalla roundabout take the second exit staying on the A5 towards Douglas. Stay on this road after approximately 6 miles you will approach a large roundabout go straight through the roundabout. Approximately 1 mile further on you will come to a double roundabout at Quarterbridge. Stay in the left hand lane and turn right at first roundabout and left at second roundabout following signs for Onchan. You are on the outskirts of Douglas. Carry on straight up Quarterbridge Road and Bray Hill past the Grandstand and scoreboards. Follow the A2 and signs for Laxey straight through Onchan and Lonan and you will approach Laxey. Carry on driving into the village, you will cross a bridge and as you approach an EFV petrol station on your left you will see Baldhoon Road on your left immediately before the petrol station.
